There’s a house on the island your family still talks about.
Maybe it’s abuela’s, still in her name after all these years. Maybe it’s the one you drive past every visit thinking someday.
The island never stopped being ours. But the part that actually gets you there, the herencia, the títulos, the taxes, the permits, lives in Spanish, inside government offices, behind attorney fees most of our families were never going to pay. Nobody handed us a map.
So I made one. DeVueltaPR is plain-English sometimes Spanglish guides for the Puerto Rican diaspora coming home. No gatekeeping, no legal-speak, no guessing.
