I was born and raised in Boston by a mother who left Puerto Rico at 15 looking for opportunities and a father who was brought here when he was only a few months old. They built a life on the mainland the way so many of our parents did — with sacrifice, with love, and with the island always in the back of their minds.
Growing up, Puerto Rico was never far. My mom is one of 12. My dad one of 9. We vacationed there constantly, visited family, felt the pull of a place that never stopped feeling like home even though we were born somewhere else. That is the diaspora experience. You belong to two places at once and fully to neither.

I always knew I wanted property in Puerto Rico. But first I had to secure my life here. A home in Massachusetts. Stability. A foundation strong enough to hold something bigger.
That time has come.
My husband is a veteran and together we are planning our first property purchase on the island — using every tool available to us, from VA loan products to 203k rehabilitation loans to every incentive Puerto Rico has to offer. I researched all of it myself. Estorbos públicos. Title searches. Loan structures. Act 60. Nobody handed me this information. I found it piece by piece, late at night, in between everything else life demands.
And that is exactly why De Vuelta PR exists.
Because I am not the only one who has done this research alone. There are millions of us in the diaspora who want to buy, invest, move back, claim what our families left behind — and there is almost no reliable information in English to help us do it.
My mom is going to retire one day. When she does I want her to be able to go home as often as she wants. To an island that still belongs to us. To property that is ours.
De Vuelta PR is how we take it back. One property, one investment, one family at a time.
This is the guide I wish I had. I built it for you.
